First Annual Youth Dungeons & Dragons Summer Camp (Ages 8–12)

The very first Youth Dungeons and Dragons Summer Camp at Wizard’s Alley is almost here, and the week is filled with magic, imagination, and adventure. This camp is designed for kids ages 8 to 12 and invites young heroes to step into a world of storytelling and teamwork. Camp runs from 1 PM to 4 PM each day, and parents should drop off campers 15 minutes early so they can begin their quest the moment the doors open. All Game Masters have completed a background check, and two adults will be present at all times. Each day includes a snack break to keep our adventurers fueled and ready for action.

Dungeons and Dragons helps kids grow in creativity, problem solving, reading, teamwork, and confidence. Every activity encourages imagination and builds friendships that carry far beyond the final battle.

Day 1: Character Creation Inside the World Campers craft their own heroes and discover the magical world they will explore.

Day 2: One‑Shots and Game Mechanics Short adventures teach the flow of play and help campers learn the rules through fun and discovery.

Day 3: Painting Your Hero Each camper brings their character to life with a painted miniature that becomes part of their story.

Day 4: Tools of the Table Dice, maps, roleplay tips, and teamwork skills prepare campers for any challenge they may face.

Day 5: The Boss Fight The week ends with an epic final encounter that brings all their new skills together in one unforgettable adventure.
